The Paediatric department is one of the oldest departments headed by Dr. A.R.Jayachhandran, since its inception. The Neonatology department was established later. The department caters to Paediatric and Adolescent age right from the neonatal period. The department has one of the busiest OPD’s in the city and caters to all needs of Paediatric and Neonatology groups.

The highlights of this department are:

Daily Outpatient Clinics timing: 10 am to 2 pm & 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm (Mon – Sat) & Sun 10am to 2pm.

Vaccinations including optional ones are available from 9am - 7pm.

Comprehensive care for Diagnosis and Management of illness.

Routine checkup for accurate assessment of growth, physical & mental development.

Nutritional and Dietary Assessment, Counseling and Management available on all days.

Management of childhood illness like: Asthma, Endocrine Problems, GI Disorders, Febrile Seizures, Anemia, Behavioral Disorders Etc.

Management of infectious diseases like Pneumonia, Acute Gastroenteritis, Sepsis, PUO etc.

The hospital offers a great team of multispecialty approach like Paediatric Cardiology Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, ENT, and Physiotherapy Departments to cater to multisystemic approach for a speedy recovery.
